| Livestock production makes
up a large part of the economic base in the Midwest. Rural Ag
Preparedness training focuses on what would happen if we experienced an
outbreak of an infectious disease in livestock. Material presented
includes general management practices to improve biosecurity measures,
carcass disposal, and the impact on producers and communities.
Interactive training methods, including a table-top model of a rural
area, help participants retain and apply the concepts discussed. Length: Varies. The content can be tailored to fit your organization's needs. Fee: Varies. Date/Time: Not currently scheduled.
